Project Summary
NBA Christmas has long been a signature moment on the sports calendar, but the league faced growing competition for holiday attention, including the arrival of Christmas Day NFL games. The challenge was to reinforce basketball as a core holiday tradition and drive audiences to tune in live across a full slate of Christmas Day matchups.
Result
The campaign delivered massive reach, generating 170 million impressions across digital and broadcast channels. The film successfully reignited conversation around the beloved Jingle Hoops concept while introducing a new generation of stars to the holiday spotlight.
Result
The work helped drive record breaking viewership for NBA Christmas games in FY25, averaging 5.34 million viewers per game across ABC and ESPN. Overall viewership increased 87 percent year over year across all five matchups.

We brought back one of the most beloved NBA holiday moments and handed it to the league’s next generation. By remixing Jingle Hoops with today’s stars, the campaign connected the memories fans grew up with to the players shaping the league now, giving fans a reason to show up on Christmas Day and see the tradition continue live.
